For more than a decade, Katey Denno has used her standing as a New York and Los Angeles celebrity makeup artist to help further the clean cosmetics industry. Her beauty tips and makeup looks have been showcased in major fashion and beauty magazines for nearly two decades, and she’s devoted her career to educating consumers about non-toxic, clean, green beauty products. She is a devoted user of True Botanicals products on her clients, and herself.

Before her career in beauty, Katey worked as an advocate for human rights. It was during her work in an HIV clinic that she learned two lessons that have influenced her as a makeup artist – 1) what we put on our skin is as important as what we put into our mouths and 2) feeling good emotionally is the first step to looking good on the outside. It’s with clean ingredients and an upbeat, positive, loving attitude that Katey begins her face painting work every day.
